Market Development Lead

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Market Development Lead to drive brand awareness and sales growth for its luxury electric vehicles in Germany. You will act as the face of the brand, creating memorable experiences for prospective owners and the automotive community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test‑drive events, pop‑ups, loyalty and community engagement initiatives.
• Identify and attend relevant luxury and automotive events as a brand representative.
• Achieve test‑drive, reservation and sales targets while managing post‑event analysis and budget reconciliation.
• Recruit, train and lead a high‑performance luxury experience team for studio openings.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Retail and HR.
• Manage the demo vehicle fleet, order process and ensure timely availability for sales.
• Implement merchandising, POS promotion and stocking systems.
• Support the launch of Lucid’s flagship sedan “Air” and handle ad‑hoc requests from senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience selling within a luxury customer environment.
• Strong network and access to VIPs, influencers and the luxury scene in Germany.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects under aggressive timelines.
• Goal‑oriented, hands‑on self‑starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
