Master Thesis – Innovative Business & Data Management (d/f/m)

About the role

Airbus Cabin Engineering is looking for a master‑level student to conduct a thesis on innovative business and data management. The role focuses on developing a tool for data analysis and workload prediction to support planning and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a data‑analysis tool to predict workload and support planning.
• Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources (workload vs. resources).
• Define work scope, assess risks and propose preventive measures.
• Validate tool predictions against real data and iterate improvements.
• Control work inflow and align outcomes with company objectives.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time master student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, MBA or related field.
• Fluent in German and English with strong communication skills.
• Interest in AI, prompt engineering and data‑driven decision making.

Required skills

• Python programming (including libraries for statistics and machine learning).
• Data analytics, data cleaning and data wrangling.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and Spark.
• Prompt engineering for AI applications.
• Understanding of estimation methods and statistics.
