Minijob Shift Engineer (limited contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Minijob Shift Engineer to cover a 4‑week paternity leave in our Berlin hotel. You will join the maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of all technical systems during your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults in equipment, plumbing, furniture and lighting.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and periodic checks.
• Install and connect equipment, lighting fixtures, locks and hinges.
• Carry out installation work and ensure accurate control of your workspace and tools.
• Prepare and finish a variety of surfaces (metal, wood, plaster) with attention to detail.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an engineer or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable guest experiences.
• Team‑oriented attitude, flexible and willing to try new approaches.
