Multi Category Buyer – Global Procurement Transformation (9‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Multi Category Buyer will join TGS’s Global Procurement team to support a nine‑month transformation and digitalisation project for Telefonica’s worldwide procurement organisation. Working from Ismaning with a hybrid set‑up, you will gain hands‑on experience in category buying, e‑sourcing and procurement process management while contributing to strategic change.

Key responsibilities

• Support the transformation and digitalisation project by coordinating procurement activities for services and works.
• Assist in the planning and execution of e‑sourcing events, e‑auctions and other digital procurement tools.
• Prepare and maintain administrative documents, ensuring compliance with transparency, equal‑opportunity and governance principles.
• Generate internal reports on KPIs, negotiation milestones, spend analysis, catalogues and supplier performance.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Global Procurement team, including process management and data entry.

Required profile

• First experience in an international procurement environment (a plus).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build transparent relationships.
• High flexibility and an innovative, team‑oriented attitude.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
