Near Patient Nurse (Hybrid) – Germany

About the role

We are looking for an experienced hospital nurse to join our Near Patient Nurse team on a hybrid basis. The role combines on‑site visits to hospitals in the Ludwigsburg region with remote coordination, offering a predictable schedule, no night shifts and a strong focus on patient‑centred care within the German healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the clinical link between local German hospitals and international medical teams, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Manage inpatient cases, monitor progress, and produce accurate medical reports in English.
• Liaise with physicians and nursing staff, provide clear updates to international stakeholders, and coordinate safe discharges.
• Support patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment plans and the German healthcare system, offering bilingual (German/English) assistance.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with providers, contribute to quality assessments and uphold clinical standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in an inpatient setting.
• Active registration to practice in Germany.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style and accountability.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.

Required skills

• Confidence with digital documentation systems.
