New Product Developer / Food Scientist

About the role

KULT FARM is pioneering whole‑cut fungi‑based vegan alternatives through mycelium solid‑state fermentation. We are looking for a New Product Developer / Food Scientist to drive the creation of innovative food products from the lab to commercial launch.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop new food technologies, focusing on texture interactions and flavor.
• Lead product development of whole‑cut fungi‑based vegan alternatives, guiding projects from concept through full commercialization in Berlin.
• Collaborate closely with mycologists and microbiologists to adapt fermentation technology for optimal product quality.
• Support the creation of new processes and procedures as the company scales.
• Manage time effectively across cross‑functional projects and contribute to company goals.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in food product development, preferably with alternative protein solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with formulation and application development using laboratory equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 1–3 days per quarter.
