Night Receptionist

About the role

The Night Receptionist is a key member of our hostel team, responsible for welcoming guests during the overnight shift (12 am – 7 am). You will handle bookings, provide information about our services and local attractions, and ensure a smooth hand‑over to the day team.

Key responsibilities

• Book guests into the hostel using the Beds and Bars booking system.
• Answer guest enquiries about facilities, amenities and local attractions.
• Maintain accurate office administration and update the booking system.
• Conduct a thorough hand‑over to the day team each morning.
• Collaborate with management on security and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Legally eligible to work in the country and possess necessary documentation.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work unsupervised.
• Friendly, sociable and customer‑focused attitude.
• Residence within reasonable commuting distance to the hostel.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with a booking/administration system.
