On‑Site IT Support for Production Floor

About the role

We are looking for an on‑site IT support professional to work directly on our production floor. You will ensure that all production machines and related IT systems are properly connected, synchronized, and operating reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site IT support on the production floor.
• Ensure production machines and systems are correctly connected and synchronized.
• Check network connectivity between machines, production systems, and the broader IT infrastructure.
• Support the operation and availability of production‑related IT systems.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot technical issues directly in the plant.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, IT, and external support teams.
• Assist with incident resolution and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Handle basic hardware, software, and network topics in the production environment.

Required profile

• Experience in IT support, production IT, plant support, maintenance, or a similar technical role.
• Basic understanding of networks, IT infrastructure, hardware, and system connectivity.
• Interest in working directly in a production/plant environment.
• Hands‑on mentality and willingness to support issues on site.
• Structured, reliable, and solution‑oriented working style.
• Good communication skills with production and technical teams.
• German language skills required; English is an advantage.
• Experience in automotive production or industrial manufacturing is a plus.
