Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager leads the cafe’s day‑to‑day operations, overseeing financial performance, staff development, and brand standards to ensure a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage departmental P&L expense lines and align labor schedules with budget forecasts.
• Mentor and coach hourly staff to become brand ambassadors and deliver industry‑leading customer service.
• Partner with all departments to consistently execute systems, processes, and brand standards.
• Support senior leadership in building a high‑performing team that shares a common vision.
• Drive retail sales in the Rock Shop by encouraging staff and guest interaction.
• Maintain objective standards of service and guest satisfaction.
• Engage guests on music topics, both current and historic.
• Lead talent acquisition, retention, and placement of skilled employees.
• Define goals, conduct performance reviews, and hold team accountable.
• Develop and implement learning and development programs to improve retention.
