Operations & Project Manager (Data Team)

About the role

Thermosphr is a ClimateTech startup that optimises energy management for commercial buildings across Europe. The Berlin team is expanding and needs an Operations & Project Manager to act as the connective tissue between technical, operational and client‑facing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate live projects across technical and client teams, keeping them on track and closing open loops.
• Intervene in complex situations, regain control of building operations, align technical interlocutors and unblock stalled tasks.
• Run workshops to align stakeholders with differing opinions.
• Present project status to clients clearly and concisely.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive better solutions, challenging “this is how we’ve always done it”.
• Support early‑stage recruiting as the Berlin team scales.
• Answer simple data questions, analyse numbers and solve problems using AI tools when needed.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience; mindset matters more than seniority.
• Fluency in French is a strong plus; German not required.
• Comfortable working with data, performing basic analysis and drawing conclusions.
• Curious about technology, energy systems and building operations.
• Humble enough to ask questions, confident enough to stand firm.
• People‑oriented, able to build trust quickly with clients, engineers and maintenance teams.
• Capable of managing multiple projects in parallel.
• Regular user of LLM tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
• Proactive in improving processes and finishing what you start.

Required skills

• SQL (including use with LLM assistance).
• Experience with AI language models (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT).
