Operations & Project Manager – Data Team (Startup)

About the role

Thermosphr is a fast‑growing climate‑tech startup that optimises energy use in commercial buildings across Europe. We are looking for an Operations & Project Manager to become the connective tissue of our Berlin data team, coordinating technical, operational and client‑facing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate live projects across technical and client teams, ensuring progress and closing open loops.
• Intervene in complex situations, taking back control of building operations and aligning technical interlocutors.
• Run workshops and facilitate alignment among stakeholders with differing opinions.
• Present project status to clients clearly, without overselling.
• Identify inefficiencies and champion better solutions, challenging “this is how we’ve always done it”.
• Support early recruiting efforts as the Berlin team expands.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of professional experience; mindset matters more than seniority.
• Fluent in English; French is a strong plus, German not required.
• Comfortable working with data, able to run basic analyses and draw conclusions.
• Curious about technology, energy systems and building operations.
• Confident yet humble, able to ask questions and hold ground.
• Skilled at building trust with clients, engineers and maintenance teams.
• Able to manage multiple projects in parallel and stay focused.

Required skills

• SQL (basic to intermediate level).
