About the role
LONGi Solar is seeking a proactive Partnerships Development Manager to expand its utility‑scale solar presence across Germany. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and managing agents and intermediaries that connect the company with emerging project developers and EPCs in the German solar market.
Key responsibilities
- Map the German utility‑scale solar landscape to pinpoint key agents, brokers, and intermediaries.
- Evaluate potential partners’ networks, capabilities, and credibility for alignment with company standards.
- Negotiate agreements and onboard agents to represent LONGi Solar in the market.
- Build and maintain a structured agent network that generates qualified leads and project opportunities.
- Provide training and resources to agents, ensuring they understand LONGi’s offerings and value proposition.
- Act as the main liaison between agents and internal teams (sales, project development, legal, finance).
- Collect market intelligence through the agent network to inform strategy and track competitor activity.
- Develop KPI frameworks to assess agent performance and report pipeline growth to senior management.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in business development or indirect sales within the renewable energy/solar sector, preferably utility‑scale.
- Strong network and deep understanding of the German solar market and regulatory environment.
- Proven track record in building and managing agent or partner networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Germany as needed.
