PreMaster Program – Magnetic Sensing Development & Testing

About the role

We are looking for recent graduates to join our PreMaster Program in magnetic sensing development and testing. The role offers practical, hands‑on experience while you work towards a master’s degree, contributing to next‑generation sensor technologies in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop demonstrators for magnetic sensor applications using CAD modelling, 3D‑printed prototypes and dedicated software.
• Design and execute tests to evaluate sensor performance at field, system and lab levels.
• Validate sensor performance and calibration concepts through Monte Carlo simulations in a virtual sensor environment.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about technology, eager to learn and motivated to work in a dynamic team.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented with a structured problem‑solving approach; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Very good English; German language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming for data analysis and experiment design.
• Experience with CAD modelling (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and 3D printing.
• Knowledge of PCB design and software development (optional but advantageous).
• Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulation techniques.
