Principal – SAP BTP & Agentic AI

About the role

Join BCG Platinion to lead the next generation of intelligent, platform‑based solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will combine AI and SAP expertise to design agent‑based applications, integrated architectures and scalable systems that transform business processes and deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale SAP BTP and AI transformation programmes from strategy to implementation.
• Define platform, data and AI strategies for C‑level stakeholders.
• Architect complex, integrated, agent‑based solutions.
• Drive key technology decisions across large organisations.
• Lead business development, proposal creation and client acquisition.
• Conduct high‑impact demos and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Build and mentor high‑performing interdisciplinary teams.
• Position BCG Platinion as a thought leader in SAP BTP and AI.

Required profile

• Degree in (Business) Computer Science or a comparable field with above‑average grades.
• 8+ years of IT consulting experience, including management of complex transformation programmes.
• Deep expertise in SAP BTP, integration architectures and modern platform approaches (CAP, Integration Suite, AI Core).
• Strong understanding of AI/GenAI and their strategic applications.
• Proven ability to plan, manage and evaluate the economic impact of transformations.
• Experience leading teams of 5+ members and handling complex escalations.
• Confidence operating at C‑level and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Track record in business development and project acquisition.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
