About the role

Walaris is seeking a part‑time Procurement and Project Management Office Associate to support its AI‑driven autonomous systems business. You will work on procurement, logistics, and project tracking activities, ensuring smooth supplier relationships and timely delivery of goods for defense and security projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute and optimise procurement processes: requirements planning, inquiries, bid comparison, ordering, delivery tracking and claims handling.
  • Manage supplier selection, evaluation, price and contract negotiations, and maintain confidentiality agreements.
  • Monitor delivery deadlines and quality, initiating corrective actions when needed.
  • Support inventory planning, maintain minimum stock levels and keep item/supplier data up to date in internal systems.
  • Oversee goods receipt inspection and organise shipping of exhibition goods, packaging and international shipments (including ATA Carnets).
  • Gather project status information, prepare project reports, track deadlines and assist in quotation preparation.
  • Monitor delivery dates with customers as part of order processing.

Required profile

  • Completed commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade management clerk) or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in procurement or a similar commercial role, preferably in a small or medium‑sized enterprise.
  • Good knowledge of procurement, materials management and basic logistics.
  • Familiarity with quotations, pricing, terms and delivery conditions.
  • Basic understanding of contract law and general terms and conditions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
  • Understanding of cost accounting and economic efficiency is a plus.
  • Experience in the security, defence or aviation industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and lead negotiations.
