Procurement and Purchasing Manager

About the role

As a leading e‑commerce platform in the automotive aftermarket, AUTODOC is expanding its procurement function across Europe. The Procurement and Purchasing Manager will steer the strategic and operational direction of the Indirect Procurement team, reporting directly to the VP Accounting, Reporting and Tax.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a 7‑person indirect procurement team, ensuring high performance and continuous growth.
• Plan and execute the multi‑year rollout of SAP Ariba across the organization.
• Design and implement an ABC Vendor Strategy, onboarding and managing preferred suppliers.
• Drive contract negotiations and spend management initiatives, focusing on IT and Logistics categories.
• Identify and implement digital workflow improvements to boost procurement efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a cross‑European environment.
• Strong track record of managing large‑scale SAP Ariba implementations.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and optimize spend.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, acting as a trusted business partner to internal departments.
