Procurement Manager – Hotel Industry

About the role

The Procurement Manager will act as the primary contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders, overseeing purchasing activities for defined categories within the MEININGER Hotels group.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain competitive quotations and run tenders according to company requirements and policies.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and best value for money.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality standards.
• Monitor vendor performance on quality, service, and price, addressing any issues with non‑performing suppliers.
• Maintain regular communication with internal and external parties to support schedules and quality expectations.
• Support the implementation of a new purchasing system.
• Keep comprehensive records of procurement activities and provide analyses and reports to the Head of Procurement.
• Maintain documentation in line with current policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar procurement role or hotel management.
• Ability to develop purchasing strategies and review procurement contracts or framework agreements.
• Business fluency in English and German (B2+ or C1).
• Proactive, hands‑on mindset with strong negotiating and communication abilities.
