Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to join Freenow by Lyft in one of our European hubs (Hamburg, Berlin or Barcelona). The role focuses on strategic stakeholder management, advanced negotiations and building strong vendor relationships to deliver cost savings and high‑quality services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the purchasing roadmap for spend categories, handling ad‑hoc spend above €25K and large contracts up to €5M.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across technology, professional services, real estate and marketing to align procurement strategies.
• Lead negotiations with existing and new suppliers, applying advanced techniques to secure optimal terms.
• Analyse current and future spend, identify improvement initiatives and drive cost‑optimization while maintaining service quality.
• Maintain positive relationships with strategic suppliers and represent Freenow by Lyft in supplier negotiations.
• Ensure consistent adherence to procurement processes and contribute to the design and implementation of a purchasing system.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or management consulting with a procurement focus.
• Proven ability to negotiate with partners across multiple European markets (e.g., Germany, UK, Ireland, Spain).
• Strong analytical capabilities and experience translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Demonstrated track record of supporting multiple spend cycles and delivering measurable savings.
• Comfortable influencing internal discussions and presenting strategic arguments.
