Recruiter & Operations Associate (Junior Manager)

About the role

You will work directly with the Head of People as the second member of a small, high‑trust People & Talent function in a fast‑growing mobility startup. The role blends recruiting, operational excellence and strategic execution, giving you end‑to‑end ownership from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Own 60% of the recruiting process: manage pipelines, coordinate growth‑marketing efforts, create and run META Ads.
• Identify and eliminate manual, inefficient processes; maintain Notion hygiene, set up HRIS, and automate workflows.
• Run onboarding and off‑boarding end‑to‑end, ensuring smooth first weeks and clean exits.
• Maintain airtight compliance: draft employment contracts, certificates, references and other documentation across all sites.
• Research, benchmark and implement data‑driven employee benefits.
• Craft employer‑brand content and compelling job ads; improve the overall hiring experience.
• Proactively spot gaps or broken processes and implement fixes.

Required profile

• Experience in a startup environment or with people‑systems (internships count).
• Highly structured and precise; nothing falls through the cracks.
• Fluent German (C2) and professional‑level English.
• Systems‑thinking mindset; builds repeatable processes.
• Independent, self‑driving and able to close loops without being chased.
• Discreet handling of sensitive information.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize urgent tasks.
