Recruitment Associate – Global Shared Service Centre

About the role

The Recruitment Associate supports the transparent implementation of human resources services outsourced to the UNDP Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC). Working under the guidance of the Recruitment Analyst/Team Leader, the associate ensures integrity, accuracy and compliance across recruitment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the full recruitment cycle for GSSC‑based positions, from job posting to onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with UNDP HR policies and International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
• Support the tiered application process, verifying candidate eligibility according to the defined tiers.
• Coordinate with outposted GSSC personnel in Kuala Lumpur, Bonn, Amman, Dakar and Panama to manage local recruitment activities.
• Provide data and reporting for HR performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• National of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland.
• Open to both internal UNDP/UNCDF/UNV staff and external candidates.
• Understanding of UN recruitment procedures and tiered eligibility criteria.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to transparency and accountability.
