Research Coordinator – Anti-Corruption Enforcement & Justice

About the role

Transparency International Secretariat is seeking a Research Coordinator to lead qualitative research on anti‑corruption enforcement and judicial integrity within the Horizon‑funded RADAR consortium. The role will develop a theoretical framework, produce comparative case studies across several countries, and draft a research monograph that synthesises the findings.

Key responsibilities

• Design and apply a qualitative research framework to examine how corruption and anti‑corruption measures are used to undermine the judiciary.
• Conduct comparative case studies, collect and analyse data, and draft detailed reports and a final monograph.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day research activities across consortium partners, ensuring methodological consistency and quality assurance.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables and donor requirements, reporting progress to the Head of Research & Knowledge.
• Support the preparation of research outputs, including case studies, policy briefs and academic publications.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in political science, law, public policy, sociology or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in qualitative research, case‑study methodology and comparative analysis.
• Strong understanding of anti‑corruption policies, judicial processes and governance issues.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with international partners and manage project timelines.
