Research Technician – Multiplex Immunofluorescence

About the role

We are looking for a Research Technician to operate and maintain our state-of-the-art multiplex immunofluorescence system (Comet Lunaphore) at QIMA Monasterium in Münster. Working under the Technology Implementation Manager, you will support the development of staining panels for skin and hair pathology projects and assist with a range of pre-clinical laboratory techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Run multistaining protocols on the Comet multiplex immunofluorescence platform.
• Manage daily consumables and reagents required for the Comet workflow.
• Prepare tissue samples for analysis, including fixation, embedding, cryosectioning, FFPE sectioning and slide preparation.
• Assist in establishing staining panels for client projects across dermatology, cosmetics and nutraceutical applications.
• Participate in training on additional QIMA Monasterium techniques such as hair follicle and skin organ culture.

Required profile

• Completed training as a medical/biological-technical assistant or an honours bachelor degree in a relevant life‑science field.
• Solid knowledge of immunohistochemistry and routine histology techniques.
• Experience working in a biological research laboratory.
• Proficiency in English (company language).
• Preferable experience with skin and/or hair research.
