Retail Manager – Consumer Products (DACH)

About the role

Netflix is expanding its consumer products portfolio and needs a strategic Retail Manager to lead the retail footprint across the DACH region. You will own relationships with major retailers and drive the execution of retail activations that bring Netflix’s iconic titles to store shelves.

Key responsibilities

• Forge and maintain strategic relationships with key retailers, including specialists (Müller, Smyths, Thalia) and mass‑market chains (Kaufland, Rewe, Edeka, Aldi, Lidl).
• Plan and execute retail moments that support brand expansion, ensuring product availability across all channels.
• Drive exclusive programs with category specialists and expand apparel and lifestyle presence in fashion retailers such as C&A and Deichmann.
• Identify white‑space opportunities and ensure a cohesive brand experience from specialty to mass‑market aisles.
• Collaborate closely with Consumer Products Marketing and global teams to align local strategies with best practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in retail, preferably with toy brands or entertainment IPs.
• Proven ownership of relationships with key retailers across buying, marketing and category management in the DACH market.
• Deep trade‑marketing expertise and a solid retail network in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.
• Strong strategic planning and budget management capabilities.
