Senior AI Engineer – Production AI Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to own and develop core AI components of a live charging‑network platform that handles voice, chat and email interactions at scale across Europe. The role is hands‑on, full‑time and based on‑site in Munich.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the reasoning layer that decides actions based on malfunction reports, driver conversations and OCPP logs.
• Build and maintain the real‑time operational intelligence pipeline that extracts signals from calls, error logs and remote actions to predict downtime.
• Develop the integration layer that connects heterogeneous chargers, CPMS and APIs across multiple operators.
• Work with the stack (TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, GCP/AWS, Claude and other LLMs) to optimise cost, latency and reasoning trade‑offs.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production AI or software systems at scale.
• Deep understanding of LLM cost, latency and reasoning beyond simple prompting.
• Hands‑on mindset, comfortable reading research papers, prototyping and measuring performance.
