Senior Android Developer (m/f/d)

About the role

Redcare Pharmacy, Europe’s leading e‑pharmacy, is looking for a Senior Android Developer to own and evolve its mobile application. You will shape the technical vision, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the app scales while delivering a world‑class user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, maintainable Android applications using modern architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Lead the adoption of Jetpack Compose for declarative UI development.
• Define and enforce best practices for modularization, code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver user‑centric features.
• Own the CI/CD pipeline, testing strategy (unit and UI), and release management.
• Monitor app stability, logging, and performance metrics; maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Extensive Android development experience with strong Kotlin expertise.
• Deep understanding of the Android SDK and modern development practices.
• Proven ability to take ownership of complex projects and deliver high‑quality results independently.
• Strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
