Senior Associate or Principal – DeepTech Fund

About the role

We are looking for a senior investment professional to help shape Marvelous, a first‑generation industrial DeepTech fund. The role will involve sourcing, diligencing and executing investments across our three verticals – Food & Agriculture, Heavy Industry and the Built Environment – and will evolve into a personal portfolio with board responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source proprietary deal flow in industrial DeepTech sectors.
• Lead end‑to‑end diligence, including technical, commercial and financial analysis.
• Structure and negotiate term sheets together with the General Partners.
• Prepare investment committee memoranda and present investment theses.
• Develop deep expertise in target verticals and build relationships with strategic industrial partners.
• Over time, manage a personal portfolio of investments and take board seats.

Required profile

• Proven experience in venture capital, private equity or corporate development within deep‑tech or industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
• Radical honesty, depth‑over‑breadth thinking and a mission‑driven attitude.
• Willingness to take initiative and own outcomes without a large analyst team.
