Senior CMO Manager – Global Pharmaceutical Operations

About the role

CHEPLAPHARM is seeking a Senior CMO Manager to lead the strategic management of contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) worldwide. You will ensure seamless oversight across the product lifecycle, supporting the company’s mission to provide sustainable pharmaceutical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to global CMO strategy and maintain oversight of all CMO activities throughout the product lifecycle.
• Drive cross‑functional alignment and act as the primary interface between internal functions and external CMOs.
• Develop and continuously improve the CMO oversight framework, including governance structures, SOPs, and supporting tools.
• Monitor CMO performance using KPIs, scorecards, and trend analyses to ensure transparency and drive improvement.
• Identify risks early, initiate mitigation actions, and support strategic decision‑making processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in natural sciences, pharmacy, medicine or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or CMO management.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with experience handling complex, cross‑functional interfaces.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills in an international environment.
• High level of ownership, reliability and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
