Senior Compliance Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Senior Compliance Manager within BASF Agricultural Solutions, you will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the company‑wide Compliance Management System (CMS). You will ensure that compliance risks are identified, assessed and mitigated across anti‑corruption, competition law, sanctions, trade control, anti‑money laundering and human‑rights areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the CMS, including scope definition and risk‑assessment processes.
• Identify, assess and monitor compliance risks, and define appropriate mitigation measures.
• Advise senior management, corporate functions and business units on compliance matters and prepare decision‑making materials.
• Report to executive management and audit committees, and support compliance investigations and audits.
• Design and deliver compliance training programmes and ensure adherence to internal and external requirements.
• Maintain communication with authorities and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Economics, Natural Sciences or a comparable field.
• At least five years of experience in a compliance or legal department, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to design and implement compliance frameworks and risk‑assessment processes.
