Senior Specialist Executive Legal, Pension and Labor Relations Support

About the role

As a Senior Specialist in Executive Legal, Pension and Labor Relations Support you will provide dedicated legal counsel for senior executives within BASF Agricultural Solutions. The position is based in Limburgerhof, Germany and is part of the company’s transformation towards an independent agricultural business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and administer employment‑law contracts for senior executives.
• Advise on employment, social security and pension matters, ensuring compliance with German labor legislation.
• Develop and implement executive benefit programmes both conceptually and in practice.
• Coordinate global benefit initiatives and conduct legal assessments for new contracts.
• Support M&A projects with employment‑law expertise and ensure legally compliant integration.
• Provide guidance on collective bargaining, codetermination and other labor‑law topics.

Required profile

• Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist) with a focus on labor and employment law.
• Several years of professional experience advising executives and drafting contracts.
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong interest in employment law, teamwork and advisory work with international colleagues.
• Proven ability to leverage digital and AI tools for efficient legal work.
• Passion for agriculture and the BASF mission.
