Senior Controller – International Performance Controlling

About the role

As a Senior Controller for International Performance Controlling, you will ensure financial transparency and drive value creation across our global subsidiaries. You will act as a trusted business partner to local management, supporting strategic decisions with data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead affiliate controlling for selected international subsidiaries and partner with local management.
• Analyse performance data, challenge assumptions, and develop improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate planning processes and group reporting in line with IFRS and internal standards.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses, visualise insights and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare investment proposals, perform business‑case analyses and variance assessments.
• Manage administrative, financial and contractual matters, contributing to cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a related field with above‑average results.
• Several years of relevant experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• High commitment, flexibility and strong intercultural competence.
• Willingness to travel internationally, including frequent trips to the German site in Dortmund.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Solid experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
