Senior Director of Product, Engagement

About the role

HelloFresh is expanding its home‑cooking expertise into a daily kitchen companion. The Senior Director of Product, Engagement will lead the Engagement tribe, shaping the vision and multi‑year strategy for discovery, cooking experiences, loyalty, and referral programs while championing AI‑enabled product development.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across discovery, cooking, loyalty, and referral domains.
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of approximately four Directors and Associate Directors, raising product thinking and execution standards.
• Manage a hybrid operating model that balances traditional product squads with a fast‑moving “startup” squad focused on AI‑driven workflows.
• Establish prioritisation frameworks that align short‑term business milestones with long‑term bets.
• Own key performance metrics such as daily active users, habit formation, lifetime value, retention, and referral‑driven acquisition.
• Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and CRM leaders as an equal stakeholder in product delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large product organisations and delivering consumer‑focused digital products.
• Strong track record of building and scaling AI‑enabled product experiences.
• Ability to mentor senior product managers and elevate product culture across teams.
• Strategic mindset with a data‑driven approach to measuring growth and commercial impact.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional leadership (engineering, design, marketing).
