Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d) – Aerospace

About the role

ATMOS Space Cargo is looking for a Senior Financial Controller to own and continuously improve its financial control environment. You will safeguard financial integrity, ensure audit readiness, and build scalable processes that support the rapid growth of this aerospace company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and enhance internal control frameworks for supplier data, payments and cash outflows, ensuring segregation of duties.
• Govern approval structures and authorization limits for all financial transactions, guaranteeing compliance with internal policies.
• Establish verification and validation processes for financial master data and payment execution to maintain accuracy.
• Apply enhanced controls, reviews and documentation for high‑risk and high‑value transactions before execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in financial controlling, audit or internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, authorization governance and fraud prevention.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (HGB required; IFRS a plus).
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining structured financial documentation.
• Highly analytical, structured and detail‑oriented work style.
• Fluent in English and German.
