Senior Legal Counsel – Remote (Germany/Switzerland)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our EMEA Legal team on a fully remote basis. The role supports sales activities across Germany and Switzerland, providing commercial and data‑privacy expertise for a global technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft complex product sales, software licensing and services agreements with major B2B customers, adapting terms to local German and Swiss legal requirements.
• Advise on data protection, privacy and security matters in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to Sales leadership, Finance and Government Affairs.
• Contribute legal expertise to cross‑functional initiatives and projects.
• Deliver training and presentations on compliance and regulatory topics.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and German; French is a plus.
• 5‑8+ years of commercial law experience, preferably from a leading law firm or an international tech company.
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial agreements, especially technology contracts.
• Strong judgment on legal and regulatory matters in an international business environment.

Required skills

• Software licensing and SaaS contract drafting.
• Data protection and privacy law expertise.
• Intellectual property considerations in technology agreements.
