Senior Overseas HR Business Partner – Manager/Sr Manager

About the role

Midea Group is seeking a Senior Overseas HR Business Partner to support its rapid organic and inorganic growth across Europe. The role begins with a one‑year assignment in Foshan, China, followed by a secondment to a European hub (Germany or Italy) where you will drive HR strategy for multiple subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse European talent trends and regulatory environments to shape HR policies and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Design and implement job grading, performance management, talent development and succession planning frameworks for overseas units.
• Lead digital HR transformation projects, including data governance, performance system deployment and process optimisation.
• Support M&A integration and global mobility initiatives, ensuring seamless cross‑border HR operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years of HR experience, preferably in HRBP or multinational HR roles.
• Fluent English and strong cross‑cultural communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate and work abroad for extended periods.
• Solid knowledge of core HR modules (recruitment, performance, employee relations, compliance) and experience with cross‑border HR matters.
