Senior Technical Recruiter

About the role

We are a fast‑growing AI startup focused on building foundation models for structured data. As a Senior Technical Recruiter you will lead the talent acquisition strategy for our research and engineering teams, helping us attract world‑class ML researchers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Source scarce ML research and infrastructure talent globally, tapping both mainstream and niche talent pools.
• Position our labs compellingly against leading foundation model labs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, and Mistral.
• Manage multi‑hub hiring across Freiburg, Berlin, and New York, handling visas, compensation bands, and notice periods.
• Screen technical depth quickly while protecting founder time.
• Run efficient, structured interview loops with clear rubrics and fast debriefs.
• Negotiate and close offers, and maintain a clean pipeline in the ATS with weekly metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of in‑house technical recruiting experience at a deep‑tech, AI/ML, or research‑led startup (seed to Series B).
• Proven track record closing ML researchers or research engineers against top‑tier frontier labs.
• Hands‑on experience hiring across multiple locations and managing complex hiring processes.
