Setting Out Engineer for Major Data Centre Project

About the role

We are seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join a high‑performing team delivering a hyperscale data centre in Germany. You will be responsible for providing accurate setting‑out and surveying support throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring the project meets design intent and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of site engineering activities across the data centre development.
• Provide precise setting‑out and surveying data to construction teams.
• Monitor on‑site works to verify compliance with design and specifications.
• Assist with inspections, quality checks and preparation of hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer or Survey Engineer.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong technical understanding of construction methods, engineering drawings and site coordination.
• Effective communication with site teams, subcontractors and senior management.
