Site Finance Manager – Waghäusel

About the role

As the Site Finance Manager for the Advanced Medical Balloons (AMB) manufacturing site in Waghäusel, you will own the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance and strategic support. You will play a pivotal role in the ongoing integration of AMB into Stryker, acting as the main finance interface with international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly and year‑end financial close in line with corporate policies and German (HGB) and US GAAP standards.
• Prepare the entity for statutory audit and coordinate the audit process.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, finance processes and compliance frameworks.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cost‑rollover activities for the manufacturing site.
• Partner with manufacturing, commercial and cross‑functional teams on performance analysis, cost optimisation and ERP enhancements.
• Support demand planning and provide financial reporting in consolidation systems such as HFM.
• Lead, hire and develop junior finance staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB).
• Hands‑on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage statutory audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate financial insights to both local and global stakeholders.
