Software Engineer – Sensors & Platforms

About the role

SAPPER INTELLIGENCE is a fast‑moving startup developing AI‑powered sensor solutions for advanced remote sensing and object recognition. We are looking for a Software Engineer who can design, build, and scale the software that powers our radar and drone‑based platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design low‑level architecture for proof‑of‑concept, MVP, and production systems.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and testable software components.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting.
• Lead software development processes, enforce coding standards and documentation.
• Implement automation and data‑processing algorithms in collaboration with AI and signal‑processing teams.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of deployed systems.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with C, C++ and Python.
• Strong background in software architecture, DevOps, and system design.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, containerization, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring.
• Experience with data‑processing pipelines, preferably real‑time or signal‑intensive.
• Ability to communicate clearly and bring structure to a fast‑moving team.
