Talent Acquisition Consultant

About the role

NAXCON GmbH, a leading IT and engineering firm in Germany, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to support its Defence business unit in Bremen. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end recruitment, from sourcing hard‑to‑fill positions to guiding candidates through the selection process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment activities using various media, active sourcing, social‑media campaigns and adjust search strategies for difficult positions.
• Draft and optimise job postings in line with market trends and legal requirements.
• Manage candidate communication throughout the application process and conduct pre‑screenings.
• Perform telephone and in‑person interviews in English as required.
• Establish, monitor and improve recruitment processes and guidelines (e.g., GDPR compliance, SB and PES processes).
• Operate the Job Match Point hotline and advise internal employees on internal mobility.
• Collaborate with external staffing agencies, negotiate contracts, evaluate profiles and verify invoices.
• Prepare shortlists and qualitative/quantitative reports for the Recruiting Center.
• Contribute to recruiting projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in business, technology or social sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of proven experience as a recruiter or in a recruiting centre.
• Solid knowledge of personal data protection regulations and the German Works Constitution Act (BetrVG).
• Structured, results‑oriented work style with a professional service mindset.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel (including Pivot tables).
