TikTok Shop Account Manager – Multiple Categories

About the role

TikTok Shop is an e‑commerce platform that lets users discover and purchase products directly within the TikTok app. We are looking for an Account Manager to drive acquisition and growth of new sellers across selected categories (Home & Living, Electronics, FMCG) in the German market.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and incubate new sellers in the assigned category.
• Map the category landscape and define priority segments in collaboration with partners.
• Build a category/sub‑category roadmap and manage long‑tail partners.
• Plan, execute and monitor category performance.
• Identify potential partners, design onboarding solutions (business model, creator affiliation, education) and create mid‑ and long‑term account plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support partner content on the platform.
• Lead internal projects such as campaigns, product launches and B2B marketing to strengthen the category ecosystem.
• Propose initiatives to continuously improve competitive advantage.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience in business development, sales, account management or new seller acquisition.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical and logical thinking with a customer‑service orientation.
• Familiarity with social content formats such as livestreams and short‑form video.
• Fluency in English and German for communication with German stakeholders.
• (Preferred) Established network of German selling partners and deep knowledge of the German e‑commerce landscape.
• Growth‑driven mindset, result orientation and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
