Vice President – Specialty Business (Europe)

About the role

The Vice President – Specialty Business will lead Glenmark’s specialty portfolio across Europe, focusing on therapeutic areas such as Respiratory, Dermatology and Oncology. Reporting to the Business Head – Europe, the role combines launch excellence with long‑term commercial capability building.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the P&L for the European specialty business, delivering sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies and long‑term business plans aligned with the EU and global portfolio.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and therapeutic advances to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead successful product launches, ensuring alignment of sales, marketing and market‑access functions.
• Build and scale high‑performing commercial teams across sales, marketing and digital functions.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, Manufacturing and other functions to enable commercialization.
• Maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, payers and patient‑advocacy groups.
• Own budget planning, resource allocation and delivery of revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and company policies for all commercial activities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in pharmaceutical or biotech commercial organisations.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility for a multi‑country specialty portfolio.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to translate market insights into commercial plans.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal functions and external partners.
• Track record of successful product launches and building high‑performing teams.
