Visiting Founders Associate – Engineering (Internship)

About the role

We’re looking for a Visiting Founders Associate to join our engineering team in Berlin. You’ll be the operational backbone, running processes, projects, and internal work so engineers can stay focused on building. The core of the role is end‑to‑end compliance coordination, surrounded by internal IT, tooling, team rituals, onboarding and technical support for the wider company.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute compliance work end to end, mapping requirements, gathering documentation, keeping timelines moving and closing tasks.
• Support the engineering team on compliance questions related to GDPR, data residency and other regulations.
• Assist non‑technical colleagues with production access, infrastructure understanding and getting started with coding.
• Improve developer experience by identifying bottlenecks and implementing fixes.
• Run team operations including onboarding, retrospectives, events and invoice management.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Self‑starter with a bias for action, eager to learn and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Some experience in a fast‑paced environment (internship, working‑student role or startup).
• Exposure to project management, handling multiple simultaneous tasks.
• A business, legal or economics background combined with genuine technical comfort; able to navigate code bases, documentation and developer tooling.
• Available for a minimum of three months and immediately ready to start.
