VP Commercial Strategy

About the role

The VP Commercial Strategy acts as the strategic business partner for a specific Evoked business segment, shaping and executing commercial strategies that drive growth, profitability and alignment with corporate goals. The role oversees product and service offerings across CRO services, integrated discovery and development programs, and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the SVP, Commercial Strategy and segment leadership to define and implement the segment’s commercial strategy.
• Translate corporate strategic pillars into actionable business plans, revenue, margin and market expansion targets.
• Identify growth opportunities in therapeutic areas, client segments and geographies.
• Shape the commercial portfolio of standalone CRO services, integrated R&D solutions and long‑term alliances, defining value propositions, pricing and delivery models.
• Drive commercial readiness for new service capabilities or technology platforms.
• Lead commercial performance tracking, analyzing revenue mix, client profitability and pipeline conversion.
• Develop dashboards and insights for data‑driven decision‑making and margin improvement.
• Monitor CRO market trends, emerging technologies and competitor strategies to inform positioning.
• Collaborate across Operations, Business Development, Finance and the central Commercial Strategy function to ensure alignment and execution consistency.
