Working Student Accounting (m/f/d)

About the role

Join Westwing’s finance team in Munich as a Working Student in Accounting. You will support daily accounting and tax processes, gaining hands‑on experience with month‑end closures, invoice handling, and record keeping in a fast‑moving, design‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with monthly closures and diverse tax declarations.
• Review and allocate business transactions, including incoming invoices and travel expenses.
• Create sales invoices for B2B customers and maintain customer master data.
• Ensure proper documentation and electronic filing of financial records.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and special topics within the finance department.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Initial experience in accounting, finance or taxation is a plus.
• Strong numerical aptitude, structured work approach and high commitment.
• Independent yet team‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English; German skills are advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
