Working Student – Consolidation Accounting

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a motivated working student to join its Consolidation Accounting team in the Munich area. The role supports the monthly and quarterly closing process, offering hands‑on experience with consolidation tools and financial reporting while you continue your studies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statement closing and related presentations.
• Coordinate with the reporting team to ensure timely execution of closing activities.
• Support the implementation of the new consolidation platform “Consolidation of the Future”.
• Execute tasks in the cross‑divisional consolidation software (SAP) and improve documentation of standard entries.
• Communicate with international teams for surveys and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Enrolled as a full‑time student in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong interest in consolidation accounting and financial reporting.
• Ability to work approximately 18 hours per week and manage deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience or coursework with SAP (consolidation module preferred).
