Working Student / Intern – Full‑Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Join ilert’s engineering team as a Working Student or Intern and help build the platform that powers incident management for thousands of DevOps teams worldwide. You will work on both frontend and backend components, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop user‑facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement backend APIs and data pipelines in Java, Rust or related languages.
• Contribute to the modular UI component library and ensure performance and accessibility.
• Collaborate on integrations such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Jira.
• Write automated tests and maintain clean, production‑ready code.

Required profile

• Current student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one part of the stack (frontend or backend).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and web application fundamentals.
• Strong interest in building reliable, scalable software.
• Fluent English communication skills.
