Working student – product life cycle management

About the role

We are looking for a working student to join Airbus’s Digital Factory Team in Hamburg and support product life‑cycle management activities. The role focuses on modelling business processes, data and process mining, and AI programming within the A320 electrical installation domain.

Key responsibilities

• Record current (AS‑IS) processes and data flows for production and engineering of Airbus A320 electrical installations.
• Support the design and modelling of Business Process Management (BPM) workflows.
• Conduct data‑driven process mining and data‑mining activities to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop AI‑based prototypes and scripts to support process optimisation.
• Participate in the conception and planning of IT projects related to product lifecycle.
• Assist in project management tasks and cross‑functional coordination.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university programme (e.g., engineering, computer science, data science).
• Available to work up to 20 hours per week during term time.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in product lifecycle and process optimisation.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
