Working Student Software Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a working student to join our Product & Tech team in Germany. You will help develop and maintain our core software platform that streamlines the installation of renewable energy solutions for homes and small businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, evaluate, implement, and deploy software solutions for customer‑facing products.
• Extend and maintain business‑critical applications.
• Translate complex, undefined business problems into actionable requirements.
• Reduce technical debt by automating, documenting decisions, and improving code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in an agile environment.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a German university for at least two more semesters, studying computer science or a comparable field.
• Available to work 20 hours per week.
• Basic knowledge of designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Agile, results‑oriented mindset and strong English communication skills (German a plus).
• Residency in Germany.
