Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager based in Frankfurt, you will join Intellect’s sales team to acquire new financial institution clients and expand existing relationships across Germany. You will own a defined territory, targeting Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 banks with the company’s cloud‑native fintech solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate a sales pipeline through strategic and targeted prospecting of Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 banks.
• Own the sales origination process and collaborate with internal stakeholders to progress opportunities.
• Engage prospects and clients to understand their business challenges and present Intellect’s value proposition.
• Maintain daily CRM hygiene, record all sales activities and prepare dashboards for sales reviews.
• Work with Marketing to qualify inbound leads and with partners to develop partner‑led opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience selling enterprise software to Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 banks or related financial services sectors.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and capable of building relationships in industry‑specific settings.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.

Required skills

• Enterprise software sales to banking (core banking, cards, digital lending preferred).
