Accountant (m/f/d) – Head Office Munich

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our Head Office in Munich. The role supports multiple Christian Dior legal entities, handling a full spectrum of accounting activities in a dynamic luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including invoice booking, supplier payments, master data creation and IFRS postings.
• Manage accounts receivable, performing sales and payment reconciliations and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Conduct cash management tasks such as bank reconciliations and travel expense processing.
• Execute general ledger postings, payroll entries, accrual follow‑up and asset accounting including depreciation.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings in line with Dior & LVMH deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements for local GAAP and IFRS.
• Support the Accounting Manager during audits and on special projects such as new process or system implementations.
• Provide coverage for colleagues during holidays.

Required profile

• Completed studies as a certified accountant.
• Several years of professional accounting experience with knowledge of tax law.
• Strong analytical abilities, precise and structured work methods, and high commitment.
• Interest in operational processes and an open, communicative personality.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
